Garry Monk must have been delighted Leeds’s mid-week fixture against Blackburn was scheduled for Wednesday and not the Tuesday which coincided with transfer deadline day.
It allowed Monk to swoop in and snatch two loan signings on a busy day for the Whites.
So who are they?
The 20-year-old winger is a hot prospect and arrives from La Liga side Villarreal on loan until the end of the season with an option to make the deal permanent if he impresses.
Having moved through the Villarreal ranks, Pedraza has made four appearances for the Yellow Submarine but has spent the first half of this season on loan at Segunda Division side CD Lugo where he has featured 22 times scoring six goals.
In order for the move to Leeds to happen, Villarreal had to pay CD Lugo £300,000 as the winger was due to stay for the whole season in the Segunda division.
Pedraza also has international pedigree after making his debut for Spain’s under 21’s in 2016.
You may already be familiar with the Gambian international as the 24-year-old winger has been plying his trade this season in the Premier League with Swansea.
After Paul Clement took over at the Swans, Barrow has fallen out of favour and reuniting with former Swansea manager Garry Monk makes sense for an experienced Premier League and Championship player (after featuring for both Nottingham Forest and Blackburn in 2015).
Both players add to Monk’s attacking options out wide and will add support and competition to Doukara, Roofe and Dallas.
Take a look below at what us Whites fans can look forward to from the former Swansea winger Modou Barrow: –
