Time to Go? – Cellino Selling Up

There may be no match this weekend but there is plenty of activity surrounding Elland Road as the news broke a few days ago that controversial Italian owner Massimo Cellino is close to selling the club to fellow Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani.

Reportedly Cellino (who took over Leeds in April 2014), is close to becoming a major shareholder in Serie B side Brescia, and once his takeover of the Italian side is complete he will then confirm the sale of the Whites to Radrizzani.

This is not the first time Radrizzani has been interested in purchasing a stake In Leeds. He was present during the whites pre-season game against Atalanta and was also in London to witness Leeds lose 3-0 to QPR on the opening weekend of the campaign.
